Many projects require engineering services to maximize performance and deliver the true value for the project's investment.

Engineering services include design documentation and consultation for Main Switch Offices, Engineering Labs and Data Center build-outs. Site Survey Assessment and Documentation, Structured Cabling Design (Copper, Fiber Optic MM/SM), Standards Definition, Rack Configurations and Layouts, Grounding System and DC Power Distribution.

 

 

New Line Communications begins each project with the Site Survey Assessment and follows it with Design and Engineering of the systems. Upon substantial completion of the engineering package, New Line Communications provides an on-site Project Manager and Central Office Technicians who implement the design. Our Project Managers and Engineers are proactive throughout the installation process, providing quality technical advice and superior installation practices. Upon completion, as-built drawings are provided to the customer via our secure web site.

In addition to Design and Installation, New Line Communications provides Packet Data Services (PDS). Each Packet Data project consists of a multi-rack design and installation of Catalyst 5500 series switches, Internet servers and multiple DSUs. Each series of racks support users of the client's service in multiple locations while integrating new features in the cellular market to include; voice over IP, cellular Internet access and cellular e-mail service. Communication interfaces consist of T1, DS1, DS3, OC-3, OC-12 and OC-48 utilizing cabling media consisting of Enhanced Category 5, Coax, multi-mode and single-mode fiber optical cables. Flexible designs provide easy upgrades to faster transfers in technologies in the future.
